RHS AcDec Team Wins District Competition

The RHS Academic Decathlon team has been hard at work competing to earn back the district trophy after 3 long years. We’re proud to announce – THEY DID IT! change to 2018 - 2019 student calendar

The district’s 2018-19 calendar is being changed so that Election Day is a student holiday/staff development day. With the change, RISD’s 2018-19 student academic calendar is still compliant with state requirements, and October 5 will remain a student holiday/staff development day as originally scheduled. Texas PTA has just accepted the Gold Medal in the National PTA Membership Olympics thanks to reaching half a million voices in our CommYOUnity!

RHS PTA RECEIVES SUPERHERO AWARD FROM TEXAS PTA

Richardson High School PTA earns superhero recognition for helping Texas PTA reach 500,000 in membership! We couldn't have done it without YOU, so thank you!! Check out the nice letter we received below.

Congratulations!

Texas PTA challenged local PTAs to search high and low for at least 10 new superheroes to join your PTA and WOW, Richardson High School PTA did just that! Your PTA was one of only 75 Local PTAs that recruited new superheroes to help your team back the future of all children in Texas.

And guess what? Those 10 new superheroes that joined the ranks of Richardson High School PTA helped Texas PTA surpass our goal of being over 500,000 members strong! Together we continue to build a CommYOUnity where we are all superheroes with a voice for every child.

Again, congratulations on earning the Superhero Award! Please share your award icon proudly and WOW your members on the excellent recruitment efforts of Richardson

High School PTA.
Have a super day!
