RHS PTA Awards Nominations

Special people deserve special recognition! Now is the time to let us know about those shining stars who have gone above and beyond to encourage and nourish our children this year. We need your help recognizing these PTA and / or community members who have served our students as described below (see award types below). 

Awards will be presented at the RHS Awards/Scholarship Banquet & PTA General Meeting on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at 6:30pm

Award Types:

✯ Golden Apple:
This award is given to individuals who have given outstanding service to the school and the students.

✯ Texas PTA Honorary Life Membership Award:
This is one of the highest honors that may be presented to individuals for outstanding service to children and youth. It is awarded in recognition of individuals who have given of their time and ability in the interest of the young people of Texas.

✯ Texas PTA Extended Service Award:
Presented to individuals who have given outstanding service to Texas PTA and have been actively involved with Texas PTA for 10 years. Recipient must be a Texas Life Member.

✯ Eagle Guardian Award:
Awarded to someone who exemplifies "True Eagle Spirit"..

✯ Golden Eagle Service Award:
Awarded by the RHS PTA to recognize exceptional service to RHS and RISD.

✯ Carolyn G. Bukhair, Servant Leader:
Awarded for outstanding leadership in service to RHS and the students, an award given to only one person per year, typically a teacher.

✯ Eagle Emeritus:
Presented to a retiring RHS teacher, staff member, or volunteer in recognition of service and dedication to RHS students and families.
